MAKING ROOMS FOR LIVING

Craft Room

Annie, There is no need to spend a ton of money on those beautiful glass domes you may have seen in the Living Room. With a little natural inspiration, you can make your own. Check out my first D.I.Y. video below for some ideas to get you started. Start simple and work yourself up to decoupaging like the pros. |

SUPPLIES YOU MIGHT NEED: Domes: It doesn't get easier than glassdomes.com—starting at around $10.
Glue: There's lots of options, but I like Mod Podge—maybe it's the name that gets me. Posters or Wrapping paper: These make great decoupage material. Here's a great butterfly one at amazon.com or recycle something you have. Wire Stems: Available at any floral supply house or here at save-on-crafts.com. I find 18 guage works best. Butterflies (of course): butterfliesandthings.com has an amazing collection that you can browse by species name, origin, and even wingspan.
